Mission Statement
Rochester Friends and Neighbors, a non-profit association, provides community members experiencing traumatic events the financial support needed to help pay for medicine, food or transportation.
All RFAN board members have long-term ties to the Rochester community, and through their association with RFAN, volunteer their time and efforts towards helping families in our community who are in need of financial support to help pay for medicine, food or transportation due to a traumatic event. Our goal is to be proactive (raising funds now) as opposed to reactive (waiting until there is an urgent need). All funds raised (100%) stay within the Rochester community, and we are an all-volunteer organization with no paid employees. RFAN is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization, and all donations are tax deductible.
